Round 4: Bubbles
Our round 4 world is about storytelling. We are telling a story about the memory between a person and his dog Bubbles. The man is facing a choice between a new job and his beloved dog.
I was in a five-person team in Round 4. There were 2 programmers, 2 artists and a sound designer in team. I was a programmer to develop the game mechanic and story time line.
We used Valve Index to build this experience. i involved in the storytelling design. As a programmer, I was in charged of writing the Timeline in Unity, scenes async scene management and some interactive codes.
This round is all about storytelling. We learned that telling a great story is not easy. We need to design every level. We not only focused on the interactivity but also telling an attractive story.
